Welcome, this is the first post in my genealogy blog.

I have been working on Genealogy for about 14 years, although I have not been very active lately and have just begun working on it again.

I am currently working on the Betz family in Columbia county. The oldest Betz I have been able to find is David born 1750.

I am also working on Crosthwaites: Albert born 1849 in Canada, he moved around quite a bit, (he had 7 children, born in 5 different locations):
Mary born in Calhoun County, Michigan,
George born in Campaign, Illinois
Edith born in Jackson, Michigan
Nettie and Ettie born in Bay City, Michigan and
Laveda and Shelva born in Shellrock, Iowa.

Nettie married Sherman Hawley, my great grandfather.

I have information on the following families: Betz, Choate, Hawley, Crosthwaite, Gilbert, Zentmeyer, Goble.

I would appreciate any information you may have and I am willing to share information I have.
